Frontier adds ABQ-San Antonio flight

Travelers flying Frontier Airlines Thursday are in the drawing for a pair of roundtrip tickets

"The greater San Antonio and Central Texas communities continue to respond well to our Low Fares Done Right philosophy", Frontier senior vice president Daniel Shurz said in a statement.

Frontier Airlines on Thursday announced it is adding direct service from San Antonio, Texas, to nine cities, including Omaha.

"We have our normal ads to destinations such as Newark and Houston that will be added, New York's LaGuardia airport, and of course expanded service into Atlanta and many of our other markets". The sale runs through 11:59 p.m. Friday, for travel through November 14 on Mondays only.

The flight will leave San Antonio at 7 a.m. and land at 9:15 a.m.

United Airlines and United Express operate about 4,600 flights a day to 354 airports on five continents.

Frontier now offers five nonstop destinations from Memphis: Denver, Las Vegas, Orlando, Philadelphia, and San Antonio.

Frontier Airlines is considered an ultra-low cost carrier, which combines cheap fares with extra fees for amenities like advanced seat assignments, luggage and beverages.
