Freeform Orders 'Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists'

Green light On Monday it was announced that the series has received a 10-episode order and is set to appear on Freeform in 2019

Freeform seems intent on expanding its Pretty Little Liars-verse to Avengers: Infinity War levels and why shouldn't they?

"The Perfectionists" has been ordered to series at Freeform, Variety has confirmed.

The series is a spinoff of "Pretty Little Liars" and has received a 10-episode order at the cable network with an expected debut in 2019. The pilot episode of "Perfectionists" was penned by "Liars" showrunner, I. Marlene King, who will also serve as executive producer on the series alongside Charlie Craig, Lisa Cochran-Neilan, Leslie Morgenstein, and Gina Girolamo.

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists is being produced by Alloy Entertainment and Long Lake Media in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television.

"Everything about the town of Beacon Heights seems flawless, from their top-tier college to their overachieving residents". The series delves into the secrets, lies, and alibis that lie behind each Perfectionist's seemingly flawless veneer. The prediction from Sofia's character looks to be true, as the trailer closes with images of police tape, and Alison seemingly exploring a crime scene.

They've kept details of the show under wraps but what we do know is that in addition to Ali and Mona, two of the other major characters will include Ava, played by Sofia Carson, and Caitlin, played by Sydney Park.

It was less than a year ago that Pretty Little Liars came to an end after seven seasons. The franchise has everything: pretty people, liars, and of course, murder. One called "Ravenswood" didn't make the same impact as the series which birthed it, and was actually cancelled after just a single season.
