Fortnite is going offline in the early morning of Wednesday, May 16 as Epic does maintenance to prepare for its next update. The developer announced that the planned outage will begin at 4 a.m.

Epic Games are looking to keep all platforms on par with each other, so it makes sense that the development team would want to get everything right on iOS. However, Epic did not specify how long the downtime will last. According to their typical teases using very specific language, they tell players to "burst onto the battlefield" - an nearly certain reference to these rifles - and that the new patch will be "gliding in". This replay system is available on both PC and console versions of the game.
