This year a record number of students skipped the two board examinations following implementation of strict measures to prevent cheating in exams. The Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections were held from February 11 to March 8 and the UP Board exams started on March 16 and concluded on April 21.

The UPMSP will declare the UP class 12 board results on its official website upmsp.edu.in, upmspresults.up.nic.in and upresults.nic.in. "U".

The pass percentage for class 12 is 72.43% whereas 75.16% for class 10. Rajneesh Shukla and Akash Maurya topped in the Class 12th examination with 466 marks. At present, there are more than 22,000 secondary schools recognized by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) announced the results of the UP Board Class X and Class XII exams today.

Since more than 29 lakh candidates have appeared for Class 12th examination alone.

The evaluation of the answer sheets began on March 17. Now, all the students who had appeared in UP Board Class 12th examinations can go to upresults.nic.in to check their UP Board Class 12th result 2018.

Academic Year 2017-18: Total 34,04715 students had registered for the exam out of which 389658 dropped out of the exams mid-way. The Board had started conducting exams in 1923. Whereas previous year the passing percentage was 57.50% for Class 10 students of Punjab Board.

There are totally 66,37,018 students are wrote the exam. Still, Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh (BHSIE UP) has conducted one of the largest Class 12 examinations in the country.
