The ladies of GLOW are maniacs in a teaser for season two

The 80s-set wrestling comedy has a released a neon-lit, Day Glo-soaked trailer that shows the cast - in all their spandex-wearing, teased-out glory - dancing through the locker rooms to Michael Sembello's hit song Maniac from the Flashdance soundtrack.

Donning their leg warmers and leotards and spraying enough hairspray to make the o-zone layer visibly cry, the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are seen striking their best poses to the tune of 80s anthem Maniac.

Much like the first season, season 2 of GLOW will last for another 10 episodes.

GLOW season 2 premieres on Netflix on Friday, June 29.

Marc Maron, who plays wrestling coach and GLOW's show-within-a-show director Sam Sylvia, interrupts the girls' fun before they can finish the number to tell them to get back to work.

Chavo Guerrero Jr was involved in the filming of the first season and he expressed his happiness in regards to the new season.

Even though the show had some real life elements to it, it was still amusing and one of the most unique shows you will ever see. As Ruth (Alison) and Debbie (Betty) settle into the day-to-day of making a season of TV together, they confront lingering issues at the heart of their friendship. Sam, meanwhile, now has a teenage daughter living with him and 20 episodes to churn out.

'And the stories that people are telling in the #MeToo movement, all these things that are coming to light are things people have been saying behind closed doors for years in our industry.
