Raiders land WR Bryant in trade with Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded wide receiver Martavis Bryant to the Oakland Raiders for a third-round pick, 75th-overall, in the 2018 NFL Draft.

The potential of Bryant being traded was raised earlier on Thursday, but it's rather shocking to see it announced so early in the process. The Steelers now appear open to a trade for the wide receiver at the right price, with Dan Graziano of ESPN reporting that the team has been "quietly listening to offers".

Bryant has one year remaining on his current contracts.

Bryant was a fourth round pick of the Steelers back in 2014, the same draft class that netted the Raiders Derek Carr, Khalil Mack, Justin Ellis, and Gabe Jackson.

In 36 career games, Bryant has recorded 126 receptions for 1,917 yards and 17 touchdowns.
