Model Janice Dickinson tells jury Bill Cosby raped her in 1982: 'I wanted to punch him in the face'

NY: A former model Janice Dickinson, the fourth of five accusers, reportedly told a jury on Thursday that Bill Cosby raped her in 1982 after giving her a pill that left her "motionless". I remember, here was America's dad on top of me, and a happily married man of five children, and I just remember thinking how wrong it was. "I was sitting on the edge of the bed", Dickinson testified.

The Associated Press doesn't typically identify people who say they're victims of sexual assault unless they grant permission, which Dickinson has done.

Another accuser, taking the witness stand after Dickinson, said Cosby prodded her to drink two shots in his Las Vegas hotel suite, then had her sit between his knees and started petting her head. 'It was gross, ' she said, as she described passing out during the assault at the hands of Cosby.

Bill Cosby's lawyer is trying to raise doubts about a woman's allegation that he knocked her out with pills and raped her in 1982.

"I mentioned it to the gentlemen at the table and Cosby said, 'I have something for that.' And I was given a blue pill", Dickinson said. And you weren't there!

Mesereau pushed: "You tell a completely different story in your book", he said.

The combination immobilized her and rendered her unable to speak.

Many memoir writers embellish stories and leave out aspects they don't want to share.

A Cosby spokeswoman dismissed the women's testimony as "prosecution by distraction". Though Constand had testified against Cosby in 2017, she will have to testify again in the ongoing retrial, as the first trial had been declared a mistrial when the jury couldn't reach a verdict. Cosby then got on top her, she testified. "You're supposed to help me be successful". "I wanted a paycheck", she explained in court.

While 60 women have publicly accused Cosby, the three counts of aggravated indecent assault against Constand is the only criminal case to stick, as most of the alleged abuse happened too long ago to prosecute. But in a 2005 deposition that Mesereau showed her, Constand said she had told her mother that she was affectionate toward him. Cosby say she consented to a sexual encounter.

She says she was still incapacitated and "was not able to do anything" about the assault. I hadn't said yes. The prosecution argues that these "prior bad acts" witnesses show that Cosby's behavior shows a pattern of misconduct and he did not make a one-time mistake in his actions toward Constand.

Janice Baker-Kinney returned to the witness stand Thursday after punctuating the first two hours of her testimony with a firm declaration: "I was raped".

Cosby's attorneys are expected to cross-examine Constand, including about the almost $3.4 million settlement she received.

Cosby lawyer Tom Mesereau told jurors in an opening statement on Tuesday that Constand was a pauper who stiffed roommates on bills, racked up big credit card debt and once ran a Ponzi scheme until she "hit the jackpot" in 2006, when Cosby paid her $3.4 million to settle the civil lawsuit Constand filed after the district attorney at the time dropped the case.

The now frail and isolated 80-year-old entertainer could spend the rest of his life behind bars if convicted of drugging and molesting Andrea Constand, 45, at his Philadelphia home in 2004. Dickinson, the only celebrity accuser to testify against Cosby, parried with defense attorneys who seized on discrepancies between her testimony Thursday and what she wrote about their encounter in her 2002 autobiography. She used the word "stupid" several times, always in reference to herself. "I told him I was pregnant". She is not testifying at the retrial. The next day, she said, she tried to confront Cosby at an estate owned by the owner of Harrah's casino.

Sylvester Stallone greets a crowd as he walks to the Rocky statue at the Philadelphia Art Museum for a photo op with Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney to promote "Creed II", Friday, April 6, 2018, in Philadelphia. She came forward in April 2015, a few months after lawyer Gloria Allred proposed that Cosby set aside a chunk of his fortune to compensate accusers.

Dickinson didn't deny what was written by her ghostwriter (Pablo Fenjves), instead saying that the book publisher advised them to change the passage to avoid any trouble with Cosby's legal team.
