Man Utd join sweepstakes for Real Madrid star Isco with massive offer

Zidane Says Real Won't Give Barcelona A Guard Of Honour, Pique Responds

Zinedine Zidane remains confident that Gareth Bale will stay at Real Madrid, despite mounting talk of interest from the likes of Manchester United.

Los Blancos are ready to overhaul their squad this summer after a poor domestic campaign.

Now United are going back to Real for another player - their talented midfielder Isco.

Mo Salah will be looking to add to his already impressive tally of 38 goals this season, with previous doubts over his fitness being squashed earlier after he was replaced during their Champions League win against Manchester City.

Diario Gol says that Real knows that Liverpool wouldn't dream of selling Salah for less than Barcelona paid for Philippe Coutinho (and that's quite reasonable, considering that Coutinho's best season is nowhere near Salah's 2017-18 and not even really his 2016-17 at AS Roma).

Liverpool are expected to fight to keep the 25-year-old at Anfield, but Perez hopes that an offer of Isco plus €50m (£44m) would help sweeten any potential deal.

The same report claims Bale is set to return to the starting line-up for this weekend's Madrid derby, but will return to the bench for the second leg against Juventus, having been spotted ashen faced while sat among the replacements during last week's Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired win.

"Of course, I want to show Zidane I can be counted on".

Verratti has scored three times in Ligue 1 for PSG this season while also netting twice in the Champions League.

Real Madrid's performances gave rise to several concerns for the club president Florentino Perez since Barcelona have performed admirably well this season.
