The hypothetical trade reportedly involved New York's first-round selection, the second overall pick in the draft. This, in turn, will leave a plethora of talented football players from which the Redskins and other teams can choose. He's part of a quartet of quarterbacks expected to be drafted in the top portion of the first round.

The latest rumors before the draft say Mayfield is still in the running for the Cleveland Browns' selection with the top pick. That will push some very good players to teams that normally wouldn't get a chance to draft them.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Monday that the Bills are unlikely to trade up to No. 2 in the draft, but may make a move to No. 5 or 6. There are some that believe this player may be the best in the entire class.

Defensive tackle Vita Vea, (Washington), CB Josh Jackson (Iowa), DT Da'Ron Payne (Alabama), G Isaiah Wynn (Georgia), C/G Billy Price (Ohio State) or DE Marcus Davenport (Texas-San Antonio) might all be available to Washington and would all fill a need on the roster.
