Ed Sheeran 'in talks to join Danny Boyle's musical Beatles-themed comedy'

Hit recording artist Ed Sheeran is poised to make a more significant jump into the acting world, and the project couldn't be more flawless.

If there's one thing that can't be disputed about Ed Sheeran, it's that he's one of the most giving celebs out there so it's no wonder he was horrified at tabloid claims that he was installing a fence to stop homeless people from being able to sleep outside his house.

Ed Sheeran is reportedly in talks to make an appearance in - and contribute music to - director Danny Boyle's upcoming music-themed film about a man who discovers he's the only one who can remember the Beatles' music. The comedy is produced by Working Title's Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner alongside Matt Wilkinson and Bernie Bellew. The news comes from the pages of the Daily Mail in the United Kingdom, who say that Sheeran is set to play the new comedy - tentatively titled All You Need Is Love.

The working title film is not only be directed by the Slumdog millionaire director, Boyle, but is also be penned by Love Actually writer Richard Curtis and stars Cinderella actress, Lily James.

"Everything Ed touches turns to gold", a source told the Mail Online.

'He is the biggest hit-maker on the planet. "If anyone can make a film about the Beatles songs even better musically, it's him'".

"Saturday Night Live" comic Kate McKinnon is also said to be in talks for the movie, which is due to start shooting this summer.
