Report: Eagles CB Daryl Worley arrested

According to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, police found Worley passed out inside his vehicle blocking a lane on the highway at around 6 a.m.

The Eagles traded wide receiver Torrey Smith for Worley in March. A gun was also recovered during the arrest.

An Eagles spokesman said the team is in the process of gathering information about the Sunday incident.

Officers responded to Broad and Pattison Sunday morning, where they found Worley asleep in his auto on the highway.

Worley, 23, was a third-round draft pick by the Panthers in 2016.

He played in 15 games with 14 starts for the Panthers last season.

It was expected that Worley would be in the mix for a starting job in Philadelphia along with fellow corners Ronald Darby, Jalen Mills and Sidney Jones.
