Body of abducted youth recovered from Hajin

Jammu and Kashmir: LeT abducted Manzoor Ahmed Bhat found dicapitated in Bandipora

His body was found in an orchard in Bonmohalla Hajin, The Greater Kashmir reported.

Later, police was immediately informed and the body was taken away by police for identification, sources said adding later the deceased was identified as Manzoor Ahmad Bhat.

Manzoor was abducted by a group of militants affiliated with LeT on Wednesday before injuring his father. Police believes that the terrorist at the center of this incident is the local terrorist Mohommad Saleem Parrey.

The decapitated body of a 24-year-old youth, who was allegedly abducted by unidentified gunmen from Jammu and Kashmir's Hajin two days ago, was found on Friday, police said.

This is the second act of brutality by the terrorists in Hajin. "The inhuman way in which the youth was done to death is against the social ethos and cultural value system of the State", said Ms. Mufti.

Former Chief Minister and National Conference working president Omar Abdullah also condemned the killing and asked why there was no anger against the killing. "I'm not surprised", he tweeted. Terrorists are branding families as acting as informers for security forces and then targeting them in order to spread fear in the Valley and discourage them from alerting security forces of insurgency in the Valley.

Security forces have launched a massive hunt to nab the militants responsible for the killing both the civilian killings.
