Aaron Ramsey scores a stunner as Arsenal beat CSKA

Nice's head coach Lucien Favre looks on during the UEFA Europa League Group K football match between Vitesse Arnhem and Nice at the Gelredome stadium in Arnhem

Is Aaron Ramsey criminally underrated?

It looks like Arsene Wenger's side will stroll into the Europa League semi-finals after the dominant 4-1 victory of CSKA Moscow, and their performance certainly went down well many.

The Gunners took a big step towards the Europa League last four with a commanding victory over the Russian outfit, with the Welsh worldwide at the centre of the action once again. But it was the Welshman's brilliant effort on 28 minutes that had the home fans out of their seats.

Although Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette gained the plaudits with their respective braces, everything went through Ozil and he caught the eye the most on Thursday.

Ozil also set up Arsenal's final goal, picking out Lacazette with a well-placed cut-back, and Wenger was appreciative of the former Real Madrid man's display.

And that desperation showed in a thrilling four-goal first 45 minutes.Ramsey opened the scoring by rounding off a fine team move on nine minutes by firing Hector Bellerin's cross into the roof of the net. We did the first part of the job in the second half, but not the second. "We have to be realistic".

He is claiming three of them, as he made clear on Twitter after the game.

That means the midfielder could face a race against time to be fit for the Europa League semifinals - assuming Arsenal avoid a massive slip-up in the second leg against Moscow next week. Asked if he had concerns about going to Moscow, Ramsey said: "No, of course not". Having players who want to play for the club is the way we want to play football and is in the values we feel are important to us.
