Samsung Care's mission is at least made significantly easier today with the announcement of over 300 sanctioned service locations in the USA providing same-day support, as well as repairs conducted by Samsung "certified pros" within "two hours or less" for "most" issues.

JerryRigEverything just published this 7-minute teardown video of the Samsung Galaxy S9, and one of the interesting things it reveals is the mechanical workings of the DxOMark-leading camera, which is the first smartphone camera to feature a variable aperture.

That includes front and back replacements, including cracked and broken screens. Samsung announced any of these fix locations will use genuine parts and proprietary tools for repairs. The company's newly unveiled offerings come in the form of the X-Doria Defense Shield and X-Doria Defense Lux lineups, both of which are available in a variety of colors and sold for both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus. The styles are meant to boast an even more premium feel that dovetails with the high-end nature of Samsung's newest Android flagships.

Samsung announced on Wednesday that it is partnering with uBreakiFix to bring same-day, in-person phone repairs to Galaxy device owners across the United States. The staff doing the work will be certified by Samsung, too. In addition to hardware issues, they'll also be trained to deal with software glitches as well. It won't be free in that case, of course, but Samsung says all repairs from an authorized uBreakiFix store will be warranted for at least 90 days.

This is great advertisement from Samsung, since flawless customer support is one of the main reasons iPhone users choose to be loyal to the Apple brand.
