The actor, once famously set to play Superman in a cancelled project more than two decades back, will now be given the same opportunity again, albeit as an animated character in the upcoming Teen Titans Go! movie.

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies will also feature Will Arnett as Deathstroke and Kristen Bell as the filmmaker trying to corral the Titans into their first movie. How big? Well he once owned a copy of Superman's 1938's comic book debut, which he later sold for $2.1 million. According to USA Today, they are the first of several more high-profile celebrities meant to voice additional DC characters in the movie. That's right. Nicolas Cage will be reprising the role of Superman that he was once deprived of. If not Superman, we wouldn't say no to Cage as the new Lex Luthor. Earlier this week, the singer Halsey joined the cast as Wonder Woman, while rapper Lil Yachty signed on to play Green Lantern.
