Monster Hunter World Getting Deviljho, Devil May Cry Crossover

Monster Hunter: World Will Get A Devil May Cry Weapon Later This Year

Please stay tuned for more information on when this content will be available.

There is still no official date on when the Dante skin will arrive to Monster Hunter: World. Players of the open-world hunting game that complete certain quest will be able to craft a very special weapon that resembles the iconic Force Edge.

In Monster Hunter, this will fall into the Charge Blade category, which usually features a "hefty shield", that when combined with its matching sword, can turn into a rather large axe.

If that isn't enough DMC goodness for you, Dante is going to join Aloy in Monster Hunter: World and show off the skills he learned while chasing demons.

The main objective in Monster Hunter: World is to simply battle huge monsters in epic locales. Other collaborations include a Mega Man Palico armor set, and Ryu armor set from Street Fighter.

PC folks will be the only ones who can snag these cheats, meaning that if you have Devil May Cry HD Collection for PS4 or Xbox One they will not work.

Current Platinum Games developer and Devil May Cry series creator Hideki Kamiya has not been shy about sharing his opinions on the franchise. However, Araujo confirms that the Event Quest will be available for all Monster Hunter World players when it arrives. Earlier this year, he suggested that the series could do with a full model change, and suggested that Devil May Cry 5 could be a realistic, cinematic action game instead of an anime-style hack 'n slash.
