Matt Damon, Ben Affleck's Production Company to Adopt Inclusion Rider

The news was announced on Twitter by the company's head of strategic outreach Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni in response to a tweet from Michael B. Jordan in which he announced his own production company would be adopting the rider.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are pledging to do their part to boost diversity in the entertainment industry.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have revealed that they will support Inclusion Riders in all future projects.

The concept was developed by Dr Stacy Smith, with a clause requiring the cast and crew to be diverse in order to retain the actor.

Two Broke Girls creator Whitney Cummings explained to us all non-movie folk what it was on Twitter, saying: 'An inclusion rider is something actors put into their contracts to ensure gender and racial equality in hiring on movie sets.

"@michaelb4jordan Thank you for always supporting broader representation in the industry", Cox DiGiovanni tweeted.

"She has been a champion, advocate and co-creator of the rider and we're thrilled that Pearl Street Films is adopting and countering on screen and behind the camera bias with this tool".
