Man dressed as Elsa pushes Boston police wagon out of snowbank

- A man dressed as Elsa from Disney's animated film Frozen helped push a police van free that had become stuck in the snow.

A Boston Police vehicle became stuck in the snow in the South End of Boston Tuesday, amid the city's third nor'easter in 11 days.

In the video, chants of "Elsa!" can be heard from onlookers in the background.

Opportunity came knocking when the wheels of a Boston police wagon started spinning on Washington Street, near The Gallows.

The Boston Globe reported that Triplett purchased the getup last winter and put it on Tuesday to entertain his friends.

The unlikely heroic feat was captured by diner Chris Haynes, who was at the South End's Gallows pub when he whipped his phone out and began filming.

The man said if anyone knew Ellen Degeneres he wanted them to let her know he wanted to be on her show.

Facebook user Christopher Haynes proudly shared the amusing video saying, "Yup, that just happened".

The cold didn't bother him anyway.

"That's what makes the video so special, I think", Haynes told Boston.com.

Jason Triplett is a lawyer from Boston who moonlights as a drag performer. Triplett later told the Boston Globe that he had worn the costume out simply to amuse his friends.
