John Oliver takes on Pence - and his pet rabbit, Marlon Bundo

There is also an audio version of A Day In The Life Of Marlon Bundo featuring the voice talents of Jim Parsons, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ellie Kemper, RuPaul, and John Lithgow as the ill-tempered bigoted stink bug, a thinly veiled nod to Pence himself. You'll notice right away that our rabbit has a bow tie.

While Pence's book depicts a "day in the life" of the Vice President's White House pet rabbit, Oliver's book is instead about a "Very Special boy bunny who falls in love with another boy bunny".

Upset with the homophobic rhetoric from Mike Pence and Focus on the Family, Oliver chose to publish his own children's book about the bunny titled, "A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo".

On HBO's "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver", Oliver admitted that Marlon Bundo is an "objectively good name for a bunny", and said that the rabbit is "the most likeable thing about an otherwise unlikeable man - like how George W. Bush is a perfectly fine painter". Bundo will be touring the country (it's not clear which Pence will be taking him on tour), with a stop at the Focus on the Family, a conservative religious organization that had a homosexual conversion therapy program until 2009.

Among other late-night hosts, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel offered a short on-air spoof previous year of the Pences' Marlon Bundo book.

On Sunday's episode of "Last Week Tonight", John Oliver announced that he'd published a parody of the children's book the family of Vice President Mike Pence released on Monday about Pence's pet rabbit. Pence's constitutional immunity from being sacked is actually worrisome, "because he's synonymous with some extreme positions", especially on abortion and gay rights, Oliver said. "So there's that", Oliver said on Sunday.

"We'd be begging for Trump back if Mike Pence became president", she said. Also, our story is about Marlon Bundo falling in love with another boy rabbit, because our Marlon Bundo is gay. With its message of tolerance and advocacy, this charming children's book explores issues of same sex marriage and democracy.

The book is available now from, and Amazon.

"Meet Marlon Bundo, a lonely bunny who lives with his Grampa, Mike Pence-the Vice President of the United States", the product description reads.
