The night wasn't a total bust for Blue Ivy, who wore a gold dress like her mother.

Everyone's favourite six-year-old has stolen the show when she chose to bid $19k (£14k) on some art, as her parents tried to pry away the bidding paddle from her grip.

Blue Ivy Carter is a tastemaker in her own right!

During the art auction portion of the evening, Blue started a bidding war on a piece of artwork effectively driving up the price from $17,000 to $19,000. A sheepish Jay-Z tried to confiscate his daughters paddle, while the auctioneer affectionately told Blue, "Baby, you don't need to bid again, you don't need to bid against yourself!"

"Her mother and father have been talking about how you gather art and that is a big deal for African Americans", Jones said to the crowd. "You know Miss Tina told me all of this". The budding art collector placed a $10,000 winning bid for an art piece by Samuel Levi Jone. The second annual Wearable Art Gala was organized by Blue's grandma, Tina Knowles Lawson, and raised money for North Hollywood's WACO (Where Art Can Occur) Theater Center. The night's theme, #WACOtoWakanda, was inspired by Marvel's Black Panther, and inspired two matching gold gowns from Bey and Blue. Jay-Z's mom, Gloria Carter also attended while Beyoncé was honored for her humanitarian work. I love you. I am inspired by you.

She continued, "I try to keep my charitable work quiet because I feel like these things should come from the goodness of your heart and nothing orchestrated as a campaign".
