Jaguars expected to re-sign wide receiver Marqise Lee

JACKSONVILLE FL – DECEMBER 17 Aaron Colvin

With the retirement of Paul Posluszny Tuesday, the Jaguars could still be in the market for a linebacker.

In a letter released by the Jaguars, Posluszny announced his decision with "much sadness but no regrets". "Playing football for the legendary Coach Joe Paterno provided me with a priceless education and wonderful memories", Posluszny wrote.

He adds that he can "no longer compete at a level that I find acceptable".

Posluszny, who's from Butler, Pa., starred at Penn State between 2003 and 2006.

Now that the signing period for outside free agents has officially kicked off, we have our three newest Houston Texans. He thanked the Bills, including coach Marv Levy and late owner Ralph Wilson, "for allowing me to be a small part of that storied franchise and fantastic city". It also enables Blake Bortles to continue building a relationship with one of Jacksonville's home-grown wide receivers. "I am excited to watch and cheer for you".

Norwell's 2017 was by far the best pass-blocking effort of his career, but he has been consistently above average in that regard in his time in the National Football League, and the worst-case scenario here sees the Jaguars significantly better at one guard spot.

In his rookie season, Carrie earned 13 appearances and four starts, chipping in with 44 tackles, eight pass deflections, one forced fumble, two recoveries and the first interception of his career. "I saw that, and it gave him these last two or three years to go battle with us".
