Impaired bride crashes on her way to her wedding say police

Chriswell Scott of the Marana Police Department in Arizona tweeted a photo of the bride, Amber Young, 32, of Tucson, wearing a long, white wedding dress as an officer escorted her into a waiting vehicle.

A bride-to-be was arrested on the way to her wedding for DUI Monday in Marana, Arizona.

The wreck occurred about 10:30 a.m. near North Thornydale and West Orange Grove roads, Marana police spokesman Sgt. Chriswell Scott said.

Scott tweeted, 'A driver was arrested for DUI this AM while driving to her wedding. "Till death do we part doesn't need any help".

She was handcuffed and put into the back of a police auto at 10.30am yesterday in Marana, Arizona, 30 miles north of Tuscon. After administering a field sobriety test at the scene, officers apparently concluded that the woman was allegedly operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the Law&Crime website explained.

It is not clear of Young arrived to her wedding on time after the accident.

After signing a criminal citation, Young was released to her fiance.

"Don't drive impaired", Scott wrote online.
