Should Arkansas defeat Florida, the Hogs would play the victor of Tennessee-Mississippi State game at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Keith Stone led Florida with 22 points and finished 8 of 10 from the field.

Next up, the Razorbacks will face 2nd seed Tennessee in the semifinals at 2pm on ESPN.

Using a 16-2 run in the second half, the Razorbacks were able to gain control of the game and defeat the Gators for the first time since 2013.

Chris Silva had 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the No. 11 seed Gamecocks (17-16), who advanced to the second round with a win over MS on Wednesday night. Macon, who once again hit key free throws down the stretch to ice the game for the Razorbacks, scored 12 points and passed out 4 assists.

On offense, junior guard Jalen Hudson has stepped up of late, averaging 22.7 points over his last three games. Macon hit a 3-pointer that ended an 0 of 9 streak for him over three games, and then Barford made a layup to make it 42-37 Arkansas with 16:28 to go in the game.

"We want to try to win the whole thing, but we are just going to take it one game at a time", Florida senior point guard Chris Chiozza said.

South Carolina: The loss puts an end to any hopes South Carolina had of returning to the NCAA Tournament, where it reached the school's first Final Four a year ago.

The Hogs will play the Gators Friday night at 9:00 p.m. ET. The Gators swept Auburn, Alabama and Kentucky down the stretch to pad their NCAA Tournament credentials and won the first and only matchup with Arkansas during the regular season 88-73 on January 17 in Gainesville.

The Razorbacks took a 7-point lead on a 1 of 2 showing at the free throw line by Barford with 7:56 left to move the Hogs ahead 55-48. They combine to average 35.0 points per game and are both knockdown shooters from all three levels.
