Papa Murphy's: If you order online you can get a large, one-topping thin-crust pizza for $3.14 at participating locations.

And if you're not nerding out with other math aficionados around the world, chances are you're drooling over pies you're going to honor the day with.

Your Pie is celebrating Pi Day by offering $3.14 pizzas all day.

By the way, Pi is represented by the Greek mathematical symbol representing 3.14, or the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, regardless of the circle's size. The chain's apple hand pie will also be available for $3.14, plus it is hosting a giveaway where three classrooms in Chicago will receive free Nutella hand pies.

"Pi (e) Day is great opportunity for us to thank our loyal customer base and introduce Your Pie to new guests who may not be familiar with our brand", said Your Pie Founder Drew French.

Pi Day started 30 years ago at San Francisco's Exploratorium. These promotions (both in the city and suburbs) all occur March 14 unless otherwise noted.

Coco's Bakery Restaurant: Members of Coco's email club can get a coupon for a $3.14 slice of pie, according to representatives.

Blaze Pizza: Build your own pie for $3.14 all-day Wednesday. Find the closest one to you. For instance, O'Charley's offers free slices of pie (perfect for Pi Day) with the purchase of an entree; Logan's Roadhouse allows children to eat free; and On The Border has $7.99 fajitas on Wednesdays.

Take home a savory or sweet pie from Cupitol Coffee + Eatery for $3.14.

CICIS: Buy one adult buffet, get a second adult buffet for $3.14 on "Pi" Day.

Hungry Howie's: Buy regular priced Howie's bread and get a medium one topping pizza for $3.14.

Note that discounts are available at participating locations, and supplies could be limited.
