Bills WR Zay Jones arrested after fight

Bills WR Zay Jones arrested in Los Angeles

The video shows Jones in a naked struggle with his brother, fellow National Football League player Cayleb Jones of the Minnesota Vikings.

A Los Angeles police spokesman said Tuesday the player, whose legal name is Isaiah Avery Jones, was arrested Monday night after officers responded to a disturbance in downtown Los Angeles. Jones was arrested for felony vandalism after he "entered a public balcony area and smashed his foot through a window" - but his brother restrained him until police arrived.

Bills wide receiver Zay Jones was arrested in Los Angeles after a freakish dispute with his brother Cayleb, a Vikings practice squad player, according to TMZ.

TMZ was the first to report the incident.

Photos from the scene show blood on the shattered window, and all over the floors and walls. His bail is $20,000. His agent, Zeke Sandhu, did not reply to text and voicemail messages.

Given the lack of quality depth behind the team's number one receiver, Kelvin Benjamin, many had projected Jones to enjoy a resurgence in his second year.

"We are aware of the incident involving Zay Jones", the Bills wrote in a statement.

The team had traded up in the second round of the 2017 draft to secure his services, due to his record-breaking collegiate production at East Carolina. He set an FBS record with 399 career catches and broke the single-season reception mark with 158 catches in his final season.

To say that Jones has had a turbulent start to his National Football League career would be an understatement. He played in 15 games for Buffalo previous year and recorded 27 catches for 316 yards and two touchdowns. He also scored two touchdowns. Jones' younger brother, Levi, plays linebacker at USC.
