Apple may finally debut a cheaper MacBook Air this spring

It is worth noting that the Cupertino-based tech company has not made any other noteworthy modifications to its MacBook Air line-up in years.

Details on the upcoming MacBook Air is thin at this point, but a new report from KGI Securities analyst corroborates a similar report from DigiTimes.

The analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo says the company will launch the 13 Inch MacBook Air with more cheaper price tag compare to what it is now costing. Despite its neglect by Apple, the MacBook Air remains a popular choice for college students.

Apart from the MacBook Air prediction, Kuo also told the investors recently that Apple has a plan to launch over-the-ear headphones this fall.

Apple was earlier reported not to make a drastic change to its MacBook Pro lineup this year, though we might get to see two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the MacBook Air, which will be able to deliver a ton of throughput including the notebook gaining the ability to hook up an external GPU enclosure.

Like all Apple products, its MacBook range too doesn't come cheap. It appears that there is still a market for the aging MacBook Air. Would you be interested in a more affordable 13-inch MacBook Air?

Until now, Apple has just upgraded the MacBook Air laptops with their software configuration and more storage variants, however there is no anything special to look after until now. Unfortunately there's no details on this new machine's specs or updated price. Reports claim that this affordable 6.1-inch iPhone will be launched with next iteration of iPhone this year in September. He now returns to claim that Apple is planning a cheaper MacBook Air, a move he believes could help Apple push MacBook shipments up by 10-15 percent this year. In a nutshell, the giant Apple has set everything well for this year.
