Alia Bhatt injures shoulder on sets of Brahmastra in Bulgaria

However, the actress injured her shoulder while shooting for an action sequence just two days later, and is now wearing a sling, reports Mumbai Mirror.

The action sequences in the flick are heavy duty and Alia will be resting for a while before she resumes. The actress is said to stay away from action for few weeks. Apart from Alia and Ranbir, Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy and will hit theatres on August 15, 2019. She's been told to rest for a couple of weeks and has her arm in a sling.

The publication also stated that the shoot was supposed to wind up the shoot and return to India by the end of this month. "The team was shooting for a scene when Alia fell and hurt herself". "She is in a lot of pain".

Alia is learning horse riding to play the character in the film. "She can only shoot for close-up scenes and the team is checking if they would need any right now", the reports added. We got in touch with the Brahmastra team who confirmed the news about the accident. On this occasion, the rest of the team including Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu Kapoor, director Ayan Mukerjee and others were present.

Hope Alia gets well soon and resumes the shoot as we can't really wait to see how the entire team will push the envelope of the fantasy genre, which sadly isn't as spectacular and breath-taking as that of our counterparts in the west. The Karan Johar production, the first in a trilogy, has RK playing the role of a superhero with special powers.
