What Mike Krzyzewski said after Duke blows out Virginia Tech at home

Defensively, Virginia Tech yields 73.2 points per game against the opposing teams.

Bagley sat out Sunday's win over Georgia Tech with a sprained right knee, which he suffered in last Thursday's loss at North Carolina. In what was a wildly entertaining game, the Blue Devils by and large played far better and with much greater energy than in the defeat at St. John's.

Earlier in the year, Allen scored 35 points in a win over Michigan State.

Bagley has given Duke a few scares throughout the season.

Duke senior guard Grayson Allen said the Blue Devils tried to keep their normal approach even without Bagley.

Along with Allen, many other players would need to step up in Bagley's absence. "Try to hit it inside with Wendell (Carter Jr.) or Marques because we really feel like they're a very good post presence down there".

Along with Carter, the resurgence of Marques Bolden needs to continue if Bagley is sidelined.

Bagley has been Duke's best player this season.

Since the start of ACC play, Gary Trent Jr. has been sensational. (14.4) and Trevon Duval (11.1). U.Va. shot a season-low 34.4 percent from the floor and hoisted 38 shots from beyond the 3-point line (the Cavaliers made just 11).

O'Connell only had three points (1-of-4 shooting from the floor) in 22 minutes, while Duval was productive off the bench, giving Duke nine points (4-of-8 field-goal shooting) and five rebounds in 25 minutes.

Again, this is all hypothetical as we do not know anything about Bagley's status.

After a lackluster non-conference schedule left Tech with work to do on their tournament resume, an impressive win over Washington not withstanding, Buzz Williams' team opened ACC play 0-2, losing at Syracuse and at home against Virginia. However, knee injuries are tricky, so if Duke needs to adjust, it must happen quickly.
