Sarah Jessica Parker's First Words on Kim Cattrall's Family Tragedy

Sarah subsequently put aside remarks they had been trading in the media recently to offer her condolences, commenting on a picture Kim had posted of her and her brother on Instagram.

Kim Cattrall held nothing back when taking a shot at her longtime enemy and former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.

Kim, who played Samantha in Sex And The City, wrote: "My mom asked me today 'when will that Sarah Jessica Parker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?'"

On 30 January, Cattrall took to Twitter to say her brother Chris was missing.

The Daily Mail had previously reported that the stars had been ready to start filming the third movie, but it was shelved after Cattrall demanded Warner Bros. also produce other movies she was working on.

'I would like to thank my fans, friends, and my #SexandtheCity colleagues for the outpouring of support for myself and family over the past 72 hours, ' Kim, 61, posted on Instagram. "You are not my friend", she continued. "So I'm writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your "nice girl" persona".

The New York Post article shared by Cattrall cites a claim from a friend of hers who reportedly said "Kim does not want the film".

"Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother". Xx, ' Sarah wrote in the comments section of Kim's heartbreaking announcement.

And this week, Parker made several public comments regarding the death of Cattrall's brother, explaining that she'd sent her condolences, in interviews with Extra and Entertainment Tonight, all whilst fuelling gossip about still making a Sex and the City sequel.

Cynthia also sent Kim her condolences, writing to her: 'Hey Kim such terrible news.
