Asus Zenfone 5 Lite leaks in live shot

We already saw an official render of the Zenfone 5 Lite yesterday thanks to Evan Blass.

A few days ago, Roland Quandt revealed in a tweet that a number of phones released this will have a notch in its display including the Zenfone 5.

An image depicting what's said to be the ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite appeared online earlier today, showing the supposed handset from a relatively tight angle, with its back facing the camera. Apart from leaking the image of the ZenFone 5 Lite, Blass also shared some details about the camera and the screen on this smartphone.

The Zenfone 5 Lite also rocks dual rear cameras (16MP + 16MP) which sit in the middle of the device. A new leak coming from Chinese media says that the new Zenfone 5 lineup consists of the standard Zenfone 5, flagship Zenfone 5z and an entry-level Max variant called Zenfone Max Pro (M1). If true, it definitely means a better group selfie advantage for the dual 20MP front camera packing ZenFone 5 Lite.

The device is seen to have a Full HD+ resolution display, with the 18:9 aspect ratio.

The design of Asus ZenFone 5 is minimalistic, but its screen is still there framework, although relatively small. Both the front and rear cameras on this device come accompanied by a LED flash. We are not yet sure if the Asus Zenfone 5 Lite will be the only smartphone launching at MWC 2018 or not.

Furthermore, there's a 3.5 mm headphone jack up top, and, a USB port at the bottom flanked by speaker and microphone grilles. It will use micro USB for charging and data syncing. It will come with Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. Qualcomm is expected to pull wraps of the Snapdragon 670 SoC at the MWC 2018 itself, so Asus might be the first brand to employ the upper mid-range chipset on its smartphone.
