Tom Brady Suffered Hand Injury During Practice After Collision With Teammate

Tom Brady was limited at practice Wednesday with a right hand injury and was placed on the injury report, the team announced.

Brady also canceled his scheduled news conference Wednesday and is meeting with the team's medical staff.

The third-seeded Jaguars will face the top-seeded Patriots next Sunday at 3 p.m.at Gillette Stadium after defeating the favored Pittsburgh Steelers 45-42 last weekend.

There were four other players limited: Alan Branch, Rex Burkhead, Mike Gillislee and LaAdrian Waddle.

The report said X-rays showed no structural damage after Brady jammed his hand. While he has missed practices throughout the year, he has not missed any starts.

Per Jeff Howe of The Herald, Brady is expected to play in Sunday's AFC Championship game barring an unexpected setback.
