Also coming to Switch this spring is a new Mario Tennis game. A small press release also noted that this remaster will include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, and offer online multiplayer for up to 6 players.

Fe is a new type of platform adventure where the story is up to you to discover, without handholding, told wordlessly through the discoveries you make during gameplay.

Nintendo revealed another slew of titles that will come to the Switch, from old favorites and cult classics to, uh, Dark Souls. The Switch version will be out later this year and feature reworked touch controls and the option to play with the Joy-Cons, as well as a whole new scenario to play through.

Dark Souls Remastered, as its aptly been named, is set for release on the Switch on May 25th. Today's much anticipated Nintendo Direct Mini offered up a slew of games, many of those games being ports. A final release date is yet to be confirmed, but when it's released it'll incorporate both touchscreen and Joy-Con controls.

As a Japanese release, "Dark Souls" fans in the US and elsewhere will have to import the whole Trilogy Box over, and will also have to contend with the fact that all three game discs will be the Japanese versions for the PlayStation 4, as Forbes pointed out. And in February, Super Mario Odyssey will get an update that adds a new mini-game called Balloon World. It will feature an improved framerate of 60 frames per second (FPS) and 4K resolution on PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC. Originally released on Nintendo DS and later ported to mobile, The World Ends With You follows some hip kids in modern-day Japan. Nevertheless, we're still getting a better-looking game than the original, with more content, and that's something to write home about.

If you missed out on any of these games when they first came out, then the Nintendo Switch is giving you another chance to dive on in. That doesn't mean a change in game engine is out of the question, but this will look pretty similar to the version of Dark Souls we already know.
