Rain, high near 42 — TODAY'S FORECAST

Weather Wintry mix Monday becomes all rain by Tuesday

The chance of rain is 90 percent. Temperatures will sink to freezing across most of MA on Monday as a wintry mix of spotty rain and sleet rolls in. Cloud cover will be abundant on Saturday with mostly dry weather.

Unusual for the Northern Front Range, the forecast includes a prediction of ice accumulation - less than 0.1 inch, but enough to make the roads very slippery, according to a weather service advisory.

Most showers should be over by the Monday morning drive to work/school.

The rest of the day will remain cloudy, NWS predicts, with a high of 38 degrees. Calm wind becoming north around 6 miles per hour after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 15 miles per hour. The high Monday could hit 39, and the next few days will be sunny with slowly rising temperatures, the weather service says.

Thursday will see a 40 percent chance of showers before the day becomes mostly sunny. Mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of snow through midnight, then partly cloudy after midnight.

Some of Sunday's strongest storms could produce isolated, small hail and wind gusts up to 65 miles per hour.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Millville even broke its previous record high temperature of 60 degrees!

Wednesday Night: Clear, with a low around 29.
