Pence defends Trump over vulgar remarks on African immigrants

Speaking to The Associated Press during a visit to Jerusalem on Monday, the vice president said he is "not going to comment on the latest baseless allegations against the president".

Mike Pence wants you to know those Stormy Daniels rumors are wayyy off base!

He was responding to reports that Trump last week in a private meeting made vulgar and disparaging remarks about immigration from countries in Africa and Haiti and said the US should welcome more immigration from countries like Norway.

They also say that if the money came from the Trump Organization - the President's private company - then it was an illegal corporate contribution to a presidential campaign. "My focus is on serving the president, advancing the priorities of the administration, advancing American interests and that's where it will stay".

The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Trump paid the adult film star $130,000 not to disclose information about their alleged trysts during the 2016 presidential election. Cohen has denied there was a relationship between Trump and Daniels. Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen, has denied there was any relationship.

In Touch magazine later published an interview with Daniels from 2011 in which she details her affair with Trump, which she claims happened shortly after his youngest son, Barron, was born. And it seems far-fetched to believe that Daniels would have concocted a such a detailed story about her relationship with Trump years before he made a decision to run for president.

"The Schumer shutdown failed", Pence said, referring to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.

"I just think leaders around the world appreciate the president's renewed engagement".
