Netflix on Monday announced that the acclaimed United Kingdom series - based on the graphic novel by Charles S. Forsman - will launch in the USA this Friday, Jan. 5, with all eight episodes made available at once (per usual). It certainly seems like a Natural Born Killers meets (500) Days of Summer with a British twist, but with only a couple minutes of a sneak peek at the eight episode series, it's hard to know for sure.

The story follows a self-confessed psychopath called James and a bored, rebellious teen called Alyssa on their journey after they run away from home. You can watch the full trailer here.

Alex Lawther and Jessica Barden take the lead in "The End of the F***ing World", a dark comedy-drama based on Charles S. Forsman's novel "The End Of The Fucking World".

But then it gets complicated when he actually does start to like her.

The series will also feature Gemma Whelan, Wunmi Mosaku, Steve Oram (Plays the father of James in the series), Christine Bottomley and Navin Chowdhry. It will be premiered in the United Kingdom on Channel 4 in the month of October. The show has gained vast popularity with its pilot season.

It is one of the first few highly anticipated shows to be released in the year 2018 on Netflix.

The series debuts January 5 on Netflix. It's gotten to the point where I can't even keep up with each new addition with a Netflix logo on it.
