Dylan Adams, one of three men charged in the murder of nursing student Holly Bobo, is due in court today.

Judge C. Creed McGinley gave prosecutors and lawyers for Adams until Monday to reach an agreement that would let him avoid trial and up to 51 years behind bars.

20-years-old Bobo disappeared from her home in Parsons in April 2011.

Prosecutors say Zachary Adams played the biggest role in Bobo's murder and was the defendant they were seeking the harshest punishment for.

Should Dylan Adams go to trial and be convicted, he could face up to 51 years in prison, WREG-TV reported.

Her remains were found in September 2014 by two ginseng hunters in woods not far from Bobo's home in Decatur County.

Dylan pleaded guilty to especially aggravated kidnapping and facilitation of first-degree murder.

A Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agent testified at Zachary Adams' trial that the agency made a mistake when it did not pursue leads only days after Bobo went missing that pointed to four men who lived in a dark underworld of crime and drug use: the Adams brothers and their friends Jason Autry and Shayne Austin.

Autry said he served as a lookout while Zachary Adams shot Bobo under a bridge spanning the Tennessee River. Dylan is the brother of Zach Adams, who was convicted of murder in September.

"From the start, the focus has been on trying to punish the people who are responsible for doing what they did to Holly", District Attorney Paul Hagerman said. "Now, they will get a little more with Dylan Adams".

"Honestly, there's really no such thing as closure when something like this happens; Justice, some justice; but, not there's no closure", said Karen Bobo.

There have been no court dates scheduled for Jason Autry, the third person charged in connection with Bobo's death.
