Isaiah Thomas Gets Ejected for Clothesline on Andrew Wiggins

Cavs visit Magic in Isaiah Thomas first start

"I know everyone says, "Well this happens to this team" and 'They've been to three straight finals, ' but that's not acceptable and I'm going to do my part to show these guys it's not acceptable and we'll go from there". Film doesn't lie, and we just got to be more physical.

Dave McMenamin of ESPN is reporting that Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue is trying to change things up in practice in order to cure their defensive woes.

Lue's objective of the film session was to hope his players would see it as a slap in the face to get their attention as they attempt to climb the standings in the Eastern Conference. It's a heavy burden for a point guard who has played just three games since a major hip injury suffered before the deal was done.

What was Lue's overall message after his team allowed 127 points for the second consecutive game?

Thomas was assessed a Flagrant Foul 2 and ejected after the play, which occurred with 6:47 remaining in the third quarter of Cleveland's 28-point loss. With fewer opportunities to make that level of impact and getting older in age, I don't think that is a bet that I would personally be willing to make. "One thing about this team, we have a short memory and we always move on to the next one and we figure things out and adjust".

Thomas will enter Thursday's marquee matchup against the Toronto Raptors with $20,000 less than what he had, but he will be the starting point guard for Cleveland.

The Cavs are no stranger to midseason lulls. I'm not the type of player or person to do that. "No matter how the game's going, I'm going to continue to be who I am", he concluded.

And it will be imperative for the team to find a rhythm sooner than later, as the Cavs are looking to work two more injured players - Derrick Rose and Iman Shumpert - back into the rotation soon.

"I've got to try to figure out a better way to start the game off". I think if we do that then that will be half the battle.
