Continued cold, more snow possible Sunday

More active weather is expected next week, especially by late week, as the stronger of two systems moves through the region. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 52.

There will be plenty of sunshine throughout Sunday, and winds will calm down throughout the afternoon and evening.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37. Calm wind becoming north northwest 5 to 7 miles per hour in the evening.

Saturday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 51. Northerly 10-15 miles per hour breezes and gusts up to 20 miles per hour are expected to make it feel about 10-15 degrees colder than that. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19. South wind around 6 miles per hour.

High temperatures will climb into the 40s and even low 50s, so any snow we gain during the week will melt by the weekend.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 20.

Martin Luther King Day will have sun with a high near 1 degree.

Monday Night - A slight chance of rain.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32.

We continue to watch for the potential for some snow late Tuesday into Wednesday. Wind chill values 12 below to 22 below zero.

It's also possible that the snow changes to rain in southeastern MA.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Snow likely through midnight.
