Antonio Conte makes claim about Eden Hazard's Chelsea FC future

Thibaut Courtois is the other Chelsea star who interests the reigning European champions, with his current contract at Stamford Bridge set to expire in June 2019.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will have to start thinking early about who will replace in-form attacker Eden Hazard.

The Belgian forward's claims put to bed rumours of him leaving the Premier League champions for Real Madrid - something he admitted previous year was a possibility.

With both Courtois and Hazard being such key components for one of the best clubs in the world, it is not surprising that they have some very high profile suitors in their pursuit.

Eden Hazard on signing new contract: "Yes, (I'll sign it) I think Thibaut first. Then I will sign", Hazard told.

Both the players have been linked with moves away from England in recent weeks with Real Madrid touted to be their next destination.

Hazard is contracted with Chelsea until 2020 but Real Madrid have identified him as the flawless replacement for Gareth Bale who is expected to leave the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season.

"When you miss them, you are sometimes wondering: 'Shouldn't I play in Spain in the next few years?' That's why I want to take my time to make a decision on that contract extension". After the game, he was asked by a Mirror journalist about the rife rumours of his alleged move to Real and whether he will sign a fresh deal at Chelsea.

"It is not always easy, but I'd also seen this coming", Courtois said of his a personal situation while speaking on Belgian television show Stadion on VTM. "And in Chelsea, people always said that I'm leaving, but I'm still here".
