LG V30+ with 6.0-inch Quad HD+ display to launch in India on December 13

The device was originally launched in Korea in September this year at $885.

The company has started sending out the media invites for the launch event, which is scheduled to take place in New Delhi at 11:30 AM.

LG released the V30 and V30 Plus months ago, with the flagship-singular in this case, as the only difference between the two devices is increased internal storage memory-getting mostly positive reviews. Considering that this is a flagship device from LG, the device is expected to be priced similarly in India. Covering and protecting the display is a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device is IP68 certified water and dust resistant and is also MIL-STD 810G certified. Measuring 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3mm, the smartphone comes equipped with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. Users can also unlock the device via voice-recognition and facial unlock methods. Powering the LG V30+ is an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with Adreno 540 and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It bears in a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by Bang & Olufsen with few sound presets like enhanced, detailed, bass, and live. V30 combine its Quad DAC with MQA technology so that the music lovers can enjoy high-resolution audio without the inconvenience of downloading huge files. Talking about the USP of the phone, just like the LG V30, the LG V30+ also comes with 18:9 aspect ratio and dual-camera setup. The camera has laser detection AF, OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization). The smartphone is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. It is backed by a 3,300mAh battery with support for both fast and wireless charging.
