SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE Standalone Expansion Comes to Steam Early Access Today

Above Superhot Mind Control

Mind Control Delete will be cheaper during the Early Access phase, then around the same price as Superhot - £18 - upon launch. Unlike the original game which was linear this new standalone expansion is more rogue like in approach.

The game is about to go into Early Access but it's not going to be fully released for some time, it could be nine to twelve months before it finally releases according to the SUPERHOT team. Each challenge will make you more powerful and bring you closer to deciphering the secrets hidden from you by the system.

Superhot Team noted that early access to the expansion will include a very small portion of the actual release.

The expansion looks to build on the foundations of the original Superhot by adding roguelike elements, such as random challenges and enemies, along with new playable characters.

The Early Access release will start with two playable MINDS with their own abilities, a selection of new levels, new AI and animation, new enemies, and hitpoint system and power-up store.

Superhot is now available for purchase on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, though Mind Control Delete will only be up for grabs via Early Access and is planned for a 2018 release. The developers have yet to announce if an Early Access version will be released to other platforms. The main game is also available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and Superhot VR is available on PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive. The game features a unique system where time only moves forward when the character moves. This allows players to plan their moves, setting up movie-like action sequences.
