Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the third-fastest film to hit the $1 billion mark ever.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is in cinemas now.

Disney has earned back the $4.06 billion it paid to purchase Lucasfilm, five years after the acquisition, thanks in large part to the three new Star Wars films.

Mark Hamill had seemingly justified the whining of a million fanboys when he said that the Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi was not his Luke Skywalker, but he has since come back to explain that though he disagreed with Rian Johnson's direction for the character, he still loved what the final product turned out to be.

Daily Record is reporting that a new Star Wars movie is set to start filming in Scotland in June 2018, specifically in the county of Argyll and the pass called Rest and Be Thankful. The LEGO sets based on the upcoming movie are available now. Whatever the fantasy, "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" is created to drop you into an immersive, other-worldly adventure where (family-friendly and perfectly safe) action and intrigue await around every alien corner. By the end, there were numerous possibilities for Episode IX to go. Once there, you'll be able to take on missions that will determine the fate of the battle between the First Order and the Resistance, explore the vast and varied merchant market stalls in a grand bazaar, and/or just kick back and enjoy a wide selection of alien drinks and space meats. So, when Johnson is allowed to create his own trilogy set in a galaxy far, far away, it may be a more crowd-pleasing affair - though that remains to be seen.

One of the new LEGO sets based on Star Wars: The Last Jedi, 75201 First Order AT-ST, is exclusive to Argos in the UK. Without the boost of X-Wings and lightsabers behind it, 2018's holiday season should see a major drop-off from this year, but that should be made up for with a stacked summer lineup that includes "Solo", "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Deadpool 2".
