Several Pedestrians Struck By Vehicle In New York City

- Several pedestrians were hurt in a crash involving several cars in Lower Manhattan.

The NYPD says three people were injured when they were struck by a vehicle in Lower Manhattan Thursday afternoon. Three more people were hurt when the auto went up on the sidewalk.

On Oct. 31, a driver killed eight people in a truck attack on an area bike path.

A witness, Hector Freytes of Queens, says people scattered as the vehicle sped along Liberty. It jumped a curb during the crash.

Fire and police officials say none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.

It happened at about 1:20 p.m. near the intersection near Liberty and Broadway. Drivers are advised to avoid the area due to a "serious collision".
