To recall, HMD Global has completed a year as the new home of the Nokia mobile brand and it made its global debut with the launch of Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 at MWC early this year. The reports further claimed that HMD GLobal will be launching another phone alongside a another phone which is speculated to be the 2018 edition Nokia 8. And this, HMD Global may do in the days to come. The phone will be customized for a Chinese market, which is where it will likely release exclusively for the first part of the launch. It is also reported that the company will also showcase Nokia 8 along with other flagship device. The Nokia 6 was also unveiled in China, so it would make sense that these new flagships would also start their launch in Asia. Nokia 9 has also leaked in images which shows the phone to come in three colour variants - black, blue and silver.

A report on news.mydriver has indicated that the Nokia 9 has a 2K display with a 5.5-inch screen.

Chances are that the Nokia 9 will be launched in two variants, one with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the other version of the phone may have 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The company also kick-started its Android Oreo beta testing programme to test the new operating system on phones in the field. The high-end variant with 128GB storage will be priced at CNY 4,199 (roughly Rs 40,826).

That's about the pricing details of the Nokia 9.

The word comes via Chinese source MyDrivers, which claims HMD Global is holding a product launch in China on January 19. The case also revealed that the handset will have finger print sensor and dual camera setup. However, now the company has revealed that the Nokia 3 smartphone will skip the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update and will directly get Android 8.0 Oreo update. The Snapdragon 835 chipset, a dual camera at the back, and IP67 water and dust protection round out what is shaping up to be an excellent mid-range phone.
