"Customers who are holding reservations on Saturday, December 9, and want to alter their travel plans may rebook in the original class of service or travel standby within 14 days of their original date of travel between the original city-pairs", Southwest Airlines told customers on its website.

A coastal storm could drop snow on the far corners of Upstate New York this weekend. "Still looks like 3-6" of snow for much of the region tomorrow. As a result, some counties in South Jersey originally under the "winter storm warning" criteria have been scaled back to a "winter weather advisory".

"You might start to see a few flakes fly early in the morning, around the time of sunrise", Doody said.
