Joel Embiid destroys Karl-Anthony Towns on Instagram

JOEL Embiid is a destructive force on the court; but his social media activity continues to cause plenty of damage around the league.

Embiid had 28 points (8 of 16 shooting), 12 rebounds and eight assists in a career-high 39 minutes. Take what happened with him and Karl-Anthony Towns for instance.

Towns commented on the photo on Instagram, saying Embiid's caption was trash.

"Raising the cat" is something Sixers fans do after a win.

Of course, this was a jab at Towns who is referred to as "KAT".

That's when Embiid came over the top, burning Towns for the reputation he's gaining as a defensive sieve: "Better quality than your defense".

Recognizing the slight, the Timberwolves big man fired back.

This is not the first and certainly not the last time Embiid trolls opposing centers like Towns, Hassan Whiteside, and Andre Drummond.

Unfortunately, the duo will not meet again until March so this will have to simmer for several months before we can see two of the most talented bigs in the league go head to head once again. Along with dominating them on the court, the 23-year-old is ruthless off the court.

But, as we all know, Joel is the king of social media, and dove deep into his bag of insults to critisize Towns' game.
