Jesus comes off injured early at Palace

Which high-profile Premier League players could move in January

Manchester City have been dealt a huge blow after it was confirmed Gabriel Jesus will miss as many as two months after picking up an injury against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The Brazilian was substituted with a suspected knee injury in the 23rd minute of the goalless Premier League draw - and left the field in tears.

Jesus has scored 17 goals in 36 appearances for City and a lengthy spell on the sidelines could force Pep Guardiola into the transfer market in January, with Aguero his only other recognised striker.

"Yeah, he's injured, hopefully not much, hopefully one or two months he'll be out", he told BT Sport. "Then Kevin we were lucky, well not lucky. But I don't know what happens in the future".

Crystal Palace boss Hodgson masterminded a stalemate at Selhurst Park which is the first time in 18 games that the runaway Premier League leaders have dropped points.

Guardiola would not comment on the decision to award the penalty, which came after Wilfried Zaha went down under a challenge from Raheem Sterling.

However, they remain unbeaten thanks to a last-minute penalty save from Ederson, who kept out Luka Milivojevic's spot-kick.

"Maybe [it was penalty] - I didn't see it really well", he sad. "But if the referee decides it was, then that's okay".

Wales worldwide Hennessey made great saves from Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane in the second half - one from a header and the other a fierce half volley at the far post.
