Honor is set to launch the Honor V10 and Honor 7X today as it's December 5. The phone will go on sale In India from Thursday and will be an Amazon exclusive. Rs 13,000) in China and it is believed that the Indian price will be around the same range as well. We can expect the device to come to India at a similar price. It carries a price-tag of 1299 yuan ($198) for the 32GB version, 1699 yuan ($258) for the 64GB version and 1999 yuan ($304) for the 128GB version. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and has the Huawei Emotion UI 5.1 (EMUI) user interface.

The phone is the successor of the highly acclaimed Honor 6x and features a 5.93 inch LCD display that is nearly bezel-less. In keeping with devices like the OnePlus 5T - which the View 10 is set to directly compete with - the 18:9 "FullView" screen is taller and narrower than ones seen in earlier Honor devices. It supports expandable memory of up to 256GB via microSD. The only damper is that the microSD card is built on one of the two SIM trays.

The Honor 7X has a dual rear camera setup which includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash, PDAF and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor.

The smartphone is aimed at price-conscious consumers who want to experience how a dual-camera setup can improve the photography experience. It sports a large 8 MP front selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by Kirin 970 processor and 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type C and NFC as connectivity options.

The phone has security measures such as a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor along with the usual pattern and password lock/unlock feature.

The V10 also comes with 6GB RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 3,750mAh battery with Honor SuperCharge technology that can get you 50% battery in 30 minutes.

The launch event will take place at 8pm IST and will be aired live on the company's Facebook page. Amazon has also announced that ten lucky winners of registrations will get the Honor 7X for free. Those who pre-register can win over 1,000 prizes including paid trips, smartphones and power banks.
