Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro to host The Game Awards

Like Keighley's previous announcements, his tweet is light on details, only revealing that Reedus will be at the show, but not confirming what many fans suspect: that Reedus, Kojima, and del Toro will be on hand to present new footage of Death Stranding. In fact, a presentation about the upcoming title has all but been confirmed, as both Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro are set to present at the award show!

Watch the last Death Stranding trailer, which incidentally was shown off at last year's Game Awards. Norman Reedus will also be present to present an award, so maybe all three will share the stage this time?

On Monday, The Game Awards organizers announced via Twitter that the "Walking Dead" actor is going to come to Thursday night's live show as a presenter.

The Game Awards 2017 are happening in just a few days, and already we know that there will be some big surprises and some even bigger reveals.

KitGuru Says: The Game Awards will be happening quite late for us United Kingdom folks so I don't know if I'll be catching it live this year. Kojima managed to attend in 2016, dropping a Death Stranding trailer featuring Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo del Toro.

The last Death Stranding update landed in October, when Kojima confirmed he was now working hard on writing the script. I am dying to know. Kojima himself said this when he spoke with PlayStation Blog early this year.

Will you be watching the Game Awards 2017? Since Reedus is the third one from the "Death Stranding" team confirmed to be appearing at The Game Awards 2017, fans couldn't help but speculate that the gameplay trailer for the mysterious game could be launched at the event. "You have a lot of freedom of choice to do what you want to do and you can get in vehicles and so on".
