Former Fox Information anchor claims Trump tried to kiss her

The Senate's No. 2 Republican said he was optimistic that House and Senate tax negotiators could quickly work out the differences between the two versions of the bills

Trump appeared to acknowledge his past with Huddy in an appearance on her Fox News show, saying, "I hit on her but she blew me off".

"'I wasn't offended, I was kind of like, 'Oh my God".

"It was a weird moment", she said.

After the story was picked up by the USA media, Huddy later tweeted that the Trump anecdote was "true", but reiterated that she felt "neither threatened nor offended " by the elevator incident. "He said goodbye to me in an elevator while his security guy was there".

"I actually wasn't offended by it", she went on. "He never tried anything after that, and I was never alone with him".

She claimed Trump knew that she wasn't a liar, so she thought, "f*ck you".

According to the report, Trump, years later visited Huddy at her show on Fox News and referred to the incident in a light manner.

Huddy, who accused Bill O'Reilly of sexual misconduct in 2011 and settled the case outside of court, said she didn't feel threatened by the alleged advance, but she was shocked.

After lunch, Huddy says Trump invited her and her friend, whom she was meeting after lunch, to take a tour of The Apprentice set.

Huddy left Fox News' local NY station in 2011 after the network gave her a settlement in exchange for a promise that she would not speak publicly about O'Reilly making unwanted sexual advances toward her. When all the stuff came out about Bill O'Reilly, Donald Trump was one of the people who said, "I don't believe this happened and I don't believe he did it"... "She has absolutely no agenda other than the truth here", she said. President Trump has consistently denied all allegations of historic sexual abuse or harassment brought by more than a dozen women since he became a candidate in the USA election a year ago. I thought maybe he didn't mean to do it, but I was kind of making excuses.

"Now I have matured I think I would say, 'Whoa, no, '" she stated.

President Trump has come under heavy fire for the now infamous Access Hollywood 2005 tape which was leaked a year ago.

Trump has openly bragged about sexually assaulting women, according to a leaked 2005 "Access Hollywood" audio clip. Trump and his supporters later dismissed it as "locker room talk", not an indication of how Trump in reality treated women.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment from The New York Daily News.
